There are Asteroids falling from the sky in the same direction the player moves. So your own movement can kill you.

The game is dynamic!
But I think is too hard, and at first I think we could move down but we can't, that make a big confusion for me, also I don't know where is the theme color :/
Thank you for your feedback! The game was initially made for the Trijam: Floating islands. I couldn't incorporate the theme Color into it anymore. As someone else said, some extra time to try out the controls would be great, which is kinda what you are talking about. Thank you for playing!
Love how you have to keep moving in the game to prevent death! Was a lot of fun running around and avoiding the asteroids, kept me on my toes the whole time. Wish I could see the asteroids a bit earlier as it was hard to avoid them at times but the game is really well made!
Well you need to predict them as they copy your movement - you go right, they come from the left to the right etc :D I am glad you liked the game so much! Thank you!
Hey, I played your game on the stream
stream timecode - 2:01
kills very quickly
Please give my game a try if you have some time!
I like the fast-paced nature of the game. You've really nailed the tone here, making everything feel frenetic, with both the sound design / music and the gameplay requiring you to constantly be on the move.
I'll note that the shape of the blocks suggested isometric to me, so it took me a bit of time to figure out how to move in the world / orient myself. And this is made much worse by the fact that there's no place to just figure out the controls. The moment you can move, you have about one second before something kills you. Perhaps an initial delay, or starting the game without any meteors until the player presses a button to start them? (Since your score seems to be based on the amount of blocks destroyed, it shouldn't affect the balance.)
I would have liked flatter platforms (or more generous ground checks). With the bumpy texture, I often found myself pressing the key to jump but not actually jumping, because I was momentarily between component pieces of the islands.
Overall, an interesting idea, but the lack of reliability in the jumping made it difficult for me to get into it.
Thank you very much for your exhausting feedback! That is a great idea to let the players decide when they want to start the meteors to fall to figure out the controls, because it is indeed hard to navigate in the terrain sometimes. Jumping was one of my biggest issues. But hey, this is a submission to the Trijam, it is a game made in 4 hours, so I thought let's leave the jumping for another time :D
I am glad you enjoyed the game, thank you very much!
Neat pick-up-and-play game!
I feel like the asteroids are a bit too fast, though. I feel like I don't have much time to respond to an asteroid falling before getting hit. Maybe decreasing the asteroid speed or decreasing the explosion range could help?
Other than that, the asteroids and their explosion do look very pretty!
Thank you very much! I played it a lot, so it is not that hard for me. Maybe I should have decreased their speed as you say. Thanks for the feedback!
Asteroids snipe you if you're not careful about it, also there's no rest time to think about what you can do when you press anything to get the game to start
That's the point of the game! :)
