The concept of the different colored clouds appearing once you go over different paints was really cool, and I think that making the game have an added restaurant idea was a very cute decision. I really enjoyed the art and the music, it added so much good game feel! It was a bit difficult to see the enemies at all times though, so I was getting my food stolen a lot LOL but I enjoyed it nonetheless! :)

Cute little game!  Cute music XD

However sometimes I just don't know where the clouds are... They don't show up until they are nearby, which makes it hard to shoot and get items XD

The game is interesting, I liked it. But the sounds don't seem right to me.

Nice work. Well enjoyed :>

Nice music and art! But I don't like how camera follows the player

I absolutely love the art and the music, i must admit the game was a bit confusing at first but i got the hang of it, nice concept!

Developer

The vibrant colors made this game a real pleasure to play, and the soundtrack was really catchy.  Terrific work!

Developer

Thank you! We appreciate that a lot! :D I'm glad you enjoyed the sound track and the experience of the game.

Nice game. Nice use of limitation. I was a bit confused on what to do at the start but got the hang of it soon enough. Well done!

Developer

Thank you so much for your comment! I'm glad you enjoyed the game once you got the hang of it. We plan to add some tutorials and stuff after the jam is over so that you start with some learning tips.

This was a very cute game. It would be great to have a mini map to show where you and the enemies are to easily navigate. The concept was very clever and limitation used well! :)

Developer(+1)

Yeah I feel like if we had some more time we would maybe add some little identifiers to mark invisible enemies whom are getting closer to you, this would've been a cool addition on top of the sound notification as the sound is super easy to miss. Thank you for your feedback and kind words :D We will expand on the game a bit after the jam is over

The concept is unique and pretty well executed. I like the color shift, once I got my bearings it was super fun to play!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the game, I wish we had time to add a tutorial for some explanation/assistance at the start.

Very unique game concept! Very fun!

It is a very odd game that I enjoyed. 7/10

Developer

Thank you for playing and giving it a try! We are glad you enjoyed the game! :D

Agree with most other comments here about the confusion of needing to shoot after picking a colour, but once we got that nailed this was a fun time!

Developer(+1)

I'm glad you loved the game and thank you for the kind words. We will add a small tutorial of some sort after the jam voting session is over to fix the issue of confusion

Very complete game, I liked the art style (although it seemed geared towards a younger audience). Everything worked great.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much :D We were going for the friendly art style whilst including the limitation that came with this jam.

Artwork and music both appeal to me. All these small assets look just right (which is  great proof of your careful  design work), and as the former comment is already stating,  look and feel very coherent.

By the way. Our game is also a colorful shooter, would make us very happy if you give it a try and tell us your oppinion about it.

Developer(+1)

I greatly appreciate your kind words! It brings a great smile to our faces to know that the artwork stood out to you and fit well with each other. I will gladly take a look at your game and give it a try!

was a little confusing at first (especially about the not being able to shoot until walking over the puddle) but then was really fun. i like the art style too, feels very coherent

Developer

Thank you! :D If we had more time we'd take the chance to refine this. We will work on majority of the feedback after the voting is done to keep things fair.

Took me some time to understand what to do, but once I figured out stuff it was a fun experience!
Love the artwork and the feel of the game, Nicely done jam entry!  Felt like a good old flash game and I love those!

Developer

I appreciate the review! Thank you for the complements on the artwork and feel of the game. We are happy to hear that you felt it was like a good old flash game as that is something we were aiming for.

Fun mechanic well presented.

Glad you put the clarification about shooting on the page; as that had me very confused for a bit :D

Developer

Thank you for your kind words! :D Yeah I wish we had the time to implement the tutorial would've made it much easier

Submitted(+1)

Cool concept! I enjoyed finding ingredients for my little hungry plants. Game was definitely easier after I realized why I kept dropping the items I had picked up. Overall good job making nice colorful artwork and coding up all the systems that go into a complete game (title screen/menu, score keeper, timer, object interactions, etc.)!

Developer(+1)

Thank you Raaaaandy Ross! :D Yeah I think a little tutorial scene to explain all the mechanics would've worked perfectly or even a little instruction popup in game which goes over all the mechanics. Thank you very much for your feedback! We may continue expanding after the jam.
