Use of the limitation
background will change randomly, and when background changed, old enemies will disappear, and new enemies will spawn. and the story is about someone who refuses to die.

(I am now in a rush to test as many games as possible to help, so please do not mind the cursory reviewing style.)

Controls are QWERTY-only instead of layout-independent (I have an AZERTY keyboard), BUT arrow keys are enabled.

you can hold dodge while shooting!

bug?? Killing the first enemy, the hero stays in dodge mode and will not move. I think this is caused by Shift + right click!

weird bug: restarting, my bullets all go to the left!

nice variety of scenery

Takeaway: I love the personal graphics and cute walking animation, or even for drawing the gun. X) The concept is interesting, although I think some more mechanics would add long-term interest. And there is a simple strategy to beat the game: dodge, shoot, dodge while waiting for the new scene; this calls for additional mechanics! ;)

I really liked the cute personal touch (visuals + sounds). :)

Hmm, thanks. This is the first time I heard of the AZERTY keyboard, pretty cool.

about those bugs.

I think dodging and aiming at the same time cause this problem.

but after restart, all bullets go left.

I didn't know what caused that.

and yes.

I spent too much time making those animations.

next time I'll do better(maybe).

Hint: don’t die.

You don’t say!

The sudden change of rooms was a bit confusing and, against your the hint, i almost always died.

At first i thought the enemies were “dodging” my bullets all the time because the graphics for they death look so much like when i dodge, but i guess this is just because of time limitations.

If i were to continue this game, i think the only things i would change is remove the right button to aim, just aim where the mouse cursor is, and add a hint of were the guys will appear in the new root moments before the change — translucent shapes or something like that.

The rest was well done.

Thanks. When I finished this game, I think about remove aiming, and add change hint.

But I didn't sleep for about 30 hours. So I just go to sleep.

Next time I'll do better.

Make games more enjoyable.

Love the simple but easy to understand gameplay - also found the tip of "Don't die" when you die quite funny!
