not long from the start, shotgun is used for jumping, you also use shotgun as a weapon, there's also a third thing, but I don't want to spoil it :)

I enjoyed it a lot, the shotgun with a helmet is very funny xD

It is very entertaining and the game is very well balanced, good job

This one is really excellent! It feels great to play and I really dig the Metroidvania feel. The one issue that I ran into is while falling or jumping either left/right, I would sometimes find myself stuck in the falling state but not gaining any upward or downward trajectory, like I was partially stuck in the wall. Other than that, this was a fantastic game, much better than I expected!

This one caught me off guard with how good it was. I may have missed it, but having a way to reload whenever would have been great. I'm the kind of guy who reloads between every shot and having to just fire off all my shells to achieve this wasn't a deal breaker but just a thing to think about in the future. Great work!

I've put this on the list of ones to complete, I'm pretty curious to explore the content.

The exploration is cool, the game is deeper than I expected at the first sight which is a very good surprise. I liked the overexagerated kickback :D Very well done! It makes you want try again and go further again and again :)

I really liked exploring in this game. I got big metroidvania vibes which I like a lot. I have to agree with Hazarth that the shotgun jump feels better than just pointing down. Having that function on it's own key made the controls feel tighter. I had to play on Easy before I realized how to reload. I would have loved to be able to reload with R or have it be automatic when hitting 0 shots left.

Having extra shells as a collectible is a fantastic and simple idea that gives the player more exploration options without having to add different mechanics or power ups.

Glad you liked the game :) I did try focusing the game on exploration and such, so I'm glad it turned out to be fun, I didn't really gave a second thought to binding Shotgun jump to space bar but it did turn out to feel better it seems, but should've worked a bit more on reload mechanic agreed with that :P

This is quite fun. Though the boss arena is kinda hard to navigate about. and it's possible for the boss to get you into a stun lock :c But the shotgun feels good, I like the art and the shotgun jump is a nice improvement over just pointing the shotgun down :D

I'm not sure how I feel about the reload being bound to the left mouse button. It was kinda awkward to click the mouse to shoot and then hold to reload but only when empty. I didn't dislike it, just felt kinda off :)

Glad you liked the game :) there are 3 bosses in the game, but I think I know which one you're talking about, Really should've worked a bit more on that one. I really aimed for the shotgun to feel good, so I'm glad you liked it. I thought only being able to reload once you used all the bullets can be an interesting mechanic, but didn't manage to come up with a good use for it :P
