Very nice art!

It would be great if the upgrade icons disappeared after the upgrade, it took me a while to realize that the points are taken away, but the upgrade doesn't happen. The game has an impressive atmosphere for such a small game, impressive and the soundtrack which I understand was written specifically for this game. The duration of the game is well suited to keep the gameplay from getting boring. I liked it.

You're totally right. The icons definitely should have disappeared once the upgrade was purchased, or at least become inactive. I found myself struggling on that last day to write and implement the music in time, so a few things were sadly overlooked. I appreciate your comments about the audio. For me, that's what it's all about! Thanks for giving my game a go!

Kind of a fun tapper game with in game cosmetics. You should get rid of the space bar interaction and just have it light torches on contact so that you can make it a mouse/touch only game.

I just watched it and I have to say, I agree with all your points. You nailed the whole "main thing is music part" haha. I'm really a musician who codes just to make a place for my music. Thanks for playing, and your review!

I thought this was a really cute and chill game. The music was very relaxing and while the mechanic was simple, I didn’t mind going back and doing it multiple times to get all the torches I needed. Lovely game, thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to play it through!

I found this extremely frustrating to play the first time and could not figure out what the objective was I moved the dot to the squares and hit space but nothing changed and I got no points. After seeing the other comments, I decided that it must not be completely broken and the second time I was able to see the red dot appear and points accrue. Not sure what the issue was, but it was very strange.

Developer

Well, I'm glad it's all sorted out now. Thank you for playing

This is a fun little game.  Loved the cabin artwork!

Developer

Thanks for giving it a go!

The cabin art looks great! The gameplay was pretty fun too. Only thing is, I wish there were a few more things to buy because I finished the entire thing in 4 runs. I think you could have split the art into a few more upgrades

Developer

I completely agree with you.  I felt that I rushed the progression of the game, making it way shorter than it had to be. Definitely a learning point. Thanks for the feedback!

love the drawn art style wish it was like that in the gameplay too, smooth gameplay. Great work!

Developer(+1)

That was initially the plan, however I really enjoyed the minimalist appearance of the levels.. and I ran out of time haha. Thanks for playing!

fair enough, still great game though!

Nicely presented with really smooth gameplay. I kinda wished you’d gone with the left-mouse button instead of the right one - it’s a bit unforgiving on a trackpad :)

Developer

Thank you for taking the time to play my game! I didn't even consider player's on a track pad, but yes that experience would be less than ideal. I will definitely improve upon that for next time. Thanks!
