I did it all with my little hands: programming, art and music (based on the original game, of course!)

Software used
Godot 4, Aseprite and Ableton Live with Massive.

Use of the limitation
You can play for exactly 10 seconds before... if you've played Outer Wilds, you know what happens! (This game contains minor spoilers about Outer Wilds.)

Nice visual and game design. Enjoyed every minute playing this game Mac build is not opening btw, maybe you have to sign it. But I played Windows one, all good

Hey! Thanks a lot for playing and for the feedback! Yeah unfortunately I didn't have the capacity to sign for Mac, my tester friends just deactivated the security on their Macs to play the game. I realize I should either find a way to get the Certificate or indicate on the file name that it is unsigned. Loved your game, just gave you a follow :)

Solid game, love the art and mechanics!

Thanks, much appreciated :)

Wow, cool idea! That 10 second loop definitely is brutal haha but so is 22 mins, so it's fitting XD. Love the idea.

Developer (1 edit)

Yes I wanted to encapsulate the feeling at 22min, and use the jam's limitation to parody it to the extreme!  Thanks a lot for playing!

I've noticed that I'm falling behind in terms of votes and the counter hasn't increased in a while, so just in case, don't forget to vote too! 🙂

Nice graphics and overall concept!
It took me some time to understand how to progress.
A little tutorial would be pretty helpful.

Developer

Hey! Thanks a lot for playing the game.

Yeah, I tried to stay close to the original spirit of the game ("just go explore") but I see how I could bring more clarity in my case :)

I love the pixel art of the game and the idea behind it! However i'd like some help to be able to see further than the beginning of the game x)

Developer

Hey, thanks a lot for trying the game! I will find a way to give more clues :) To progress, just go to the planet located directly under your starting planet. There is a stone there that will give you something to do at the beginning of the next loop :)

Good physics, nice to play!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Your game looks amazing, gonna have to try it :)

how do you win

Developer (2 edits) (+1)

To respect the original game, I didn't give much clue in order to let the player explore. But if you need a little hint, I'd say fly to the planet that is located right under the starting planet. The stone there will give you a little advice that you can apply as soon as the loop restarts :) Hope that helps!

Developer

Also thanks for testing the game :)

too fast reload cycle. But concept is amazing

Developer(+1)

Hey, thanks a lot for playing the game! It's true that it feels super fast, but there are actually 10 seconds of gameplay before the screen goes white :)

HM... If it is really possible to pass, then this game is 10/10 !))

Developer

Yes ahah with a few attempts it's possible! First step is to go to the planet under yours, and follow the instructions you'll find there :) Thanks again for your feedback and for playing!
