Use of the limitation
The 10 second limitation was incorporated through the players oxygen tank. The player starts a level with only 10 seconds of oxygen in their tank, but it can be refilled by picking up any tanks they may find on their travels. An oxygen tank which will grant the player an additional 10 seconds of oxygen.

I really like it ! it was fun to play and the only thing on my part was as some people said with the dash. overall, great job !
Cool concept! Only complaint is that the dash is inconsistent when jumping/holding space, which is a little frustrating.
Glad you enjoyed the idea! We got a comment earlier about the dash being a bit janky so I'll take a look into it! cheers :)
if you鈥檇 like to replicate it, it only seems to occur if you are pressing or holding space while you try to dash, so jump/dashing is inconsistent unless you time hitting space then dash perfectly
The film grain post processing filter looks awesome in this game! Nice art, the movement control feels smooth. The text saying "You missed the jump :(" was cute too 馃槄
glad you enjoyed!!

it's decently good, there isn't anything mechanically flawed with it and the concept is quite simple and properly executed. I think the biggest setback with this is that the levels themselves aren't hard from an executional standpoint, the difficulty stems mostly from not knowing where to go (the tiles and background all look exactly the same so you get lost very easily) and from the terrain layout being uneven and making the movement very awkward. The dash itself also was more of a tool to go places faster that you could honestly ignore than something you needed to consciously use. I did only make it past the first 3 levels because it admittedly got pretty boring so maybe you did improve with the other levels, idk. Not a bad entry though
with difficulty in regards we planned on making the game more repeating the play loop to learn the correct paths to take, the reason for the simple execution was due to to the 3 team members all being busy and not having alot of notice before starting leading to a lower timescale to work with, im glad you still thought it was good and love the feedback and where to work from cheers!
Love the art and this noisy post processing filter you have! Maybe you could use 10s limitationin more mechanics tho
Glad you enjoyed it! the idea of using the limitation we chose to keep a simple you have 10 seconds to live theme as we thought it would work well with the game itself :)) but we could have looked into using more 10 second themed mechanics too!
Nice game. I had a lot of fun playing it. The level design was good - I always felt I knew where I was going. Only the jetpack controls felt a bit clunky to me.
Glad you enjoyed, We can take a look at making the jetpack feeling a bit smoother!
Nice game! Interesting design!
Happy you enjoyed <3
The visuals and art design are pretty cool.
And I love the fact that the astronaut is naruto running with their arms pointing backwards.
It's really cute!
Glad you enjoyed the general feel of the game!!
I like the leveldesign in your platformer, for me thats the best so far, also cool camera noise effect, but use of limitation is... ok
glad you enjoyed the level design and all the effects, although the limitation use is basic (having 10 seconds of oxygen) we thought it'd be a simple yet effective way to implement it :)
you get a point here +1 star for use of limitation)
haha thanks and thank you for commenting your honest thoughts on the game :)) Glad we got to talk about it and your feedback about the level design itself was pretty useful <3
Nice little platformer. The plaforming itself felt a bit weird (character could barely reach some platforms) but overall fun !
Thanks for playing, We thought of making the platforms occasionally to tall to allow the use of the jetpack/boost to be able to jump higher. glad you enjoyed still!
Hey team, GG on this good little platformer! I must admit I quickly got stuck though, how can I pass the second level? The cheeky message at the bottom of the pit was fun :)
Just an idea: could by very satisfying to have to launch the rocket by ourselves by maintaining the space bar.
I love that idea of launching the rocket, the second level and so on and so forth require alot of exploration and trial and error. we attempted to make the game needing it be played multiple times to get right as it is a way to scale difficulty with only being able to have 10 seconds! glad you enjoyed it however :)
Really fun game, I like the use of the limitation as a jetpack. Nice work!
glad you enjoyed!
I really liked the low-gravity falling. Reminded me of parachuting off a cliff in Worms. The boost was a lot of fun, too.
I see what you mean haha!
Little floaty. Got that one bug to fix. You alright! Check out my live review at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
Cool game, but a bit too difficult right from the get go. The player character is really cute!
The controls and the goals were very easy to understand :)I liked that it was almost maze-like. Now, if I would only be a better gamer ^^
Nicely done. Its clearly had a lot of effort put in.
The tutorial was great and the platforming as well.
I couldn't get past a specific part which made me quit but I think the game itself is pretty good!
This is such a fun game, also huge credit to the tutorial stage, was very useful and fun learning how to crouch and boost, in the actual levels I did struggle a little however that made me wanna keep going, I appreciate the different stages of the game and how each mechanic is used in its own right, and sometimes in combinations, one improvement I'd suggest is to cap the time to 10 seconds, and then play through and find spawn points for boost packs to make sure its still balanced, overall this is great game and something to be proud of!
Thank you so much for your comment, I'm really glad you enjoyed the game and appreciate the nice comments :)
