Use of the limitation
You are Minoy the great miner. You can mine blocks but not the blocks under vegetation, hence controlling the environment. Find the individual elements and fuse them to form an alloy.

The act of mining itself feels fine, I'm reminded of terraria while playing this, however the fusing mechanic is confusing, I would have loved some sort of indicator that showed progress towards the goal, as I have no idea if what I'm doing is really affecting the game

The thing about fusion was I wanted to take it a bit old school, I wanted the player to memorise how much of each element has he used already and how much he still needs.
Thanks for the suggestion, will try to add a progress bar.
