Cool game, both the music tracks sounded good. 

Few suggestions from my side:

Try replacing the road picture with a straight path having no curves, as this would sell the illusion of you driving.

Try animating the player and looping the background. 

Be careful when dealing with AI generated art as it would hinder the game from attaining perfection. You could have just used paint to trace a flat road surface, duplicate the image and flip it to create an illusion of driving. (You can't become good at something without trying) This would have even saved you those 10 hrs.

But overall its a fun game. Congrats.

PS: I couldn't find any link to the theme in my 10 mins gameplay.

It's a cute and cozy game. The music sounds relaxing. 

I just have few suggestions, 

  1. Try animating the player and scalling her a bit down. 
  2.  Change the tile color to differentiate it from the branches.

In the collect them all stage, try adding more than one item to be collected and add enemies there as well to increase the difficulty of the game. 

In the scoring a goal stage, try adding a goalkeeper ai.

basically it's a game that revolves around the city darklight, the protagonist enters the city looking for his lost brother. He figures out that his brother has been held captive by the Red Hoodies (antagonists). The citizen (npc) then narrated the past saying that the Red Hoodies are the ones that cursed the city by overheating it. This overheat can only be survived by the king of the shadows and his bloodline. So after a minute you can witness the true nature of darklight (the red screenshot) with ghosts.  He dies saving his brother and the entire city at the end.

I do understand the levels are quite complicated but it is quite intuitive.  

Controls:

WASD -> Movement

Space -> Jump 

Space  x2-> Double jump 

L combined with any of the movement causes the player to dash in that respective direction (inspired from celeste)

J combined with any of the movement causes the player to attack in that respective direction.

Special Cases

On getting caught with the drone, the dash is replenished and you need to attack to get out of it. On leaving the drone hit the dash button again to fire in the direction maintaining the momentum.

MEPHIOUS

Mephious! a genetic slow poison disease, which corrupts its host and feeds on their sight and finally on their soul.

The poor banana is affected with this highly dangerous disease. He decides to go ask his friend Dr. Pineapple for Vitamin B9. 

The rest of the story, only fate knows.

Travel with the banana and unravel the unsung truth of the world.

Overall the game was good. 

Loved the music and the skeletons.

I would have liked a map or a list saying what do you get when you fuse two elements.

The main thing was I didn't see the player control the environment (use of limitation).

The fusion part was fine.

The thing about fusion was I wanted to take it a bit old school, I wanted the player to memorise how much of each element has he used already and how much he still needs.

The game's theme was pastel colour palette, so I thought it would be fun to blend the colours
