What I liked: The concept of getting new attacks by defeating enemies was great! I found myself trying to find the right enemy so that I get the attacks I want. I also enjoyed the enemy design. Each enemy was unique, and I could tell what attack each of them would do once I learned the different attacks.
Suggestions (just suggestions, feel free to ignore them if you'd like) Sound design goes a long way in games. I suggest taking time to find audio clips to play on certain events, or just having some background music. Also, as you mentioned in the game, it does get a bit laggy in the last level. if you don't know why that is, take some time to do some research on it. You might learn something important.
