I like it! Graphics are great and I like the upgrade mechanics. I have a few minor complaints. I wish the enemies wouldn't shoot while they're off-screen, it feels a bit unfair, also the square shouldn't charge while it's off-screen. Second, I can just fire while spinning around and get a bunch of kills from far-away enemies, there should be some de-spawn time on the bullets. I also wish the game didn't quit out as soon as you die. Other than that, it's a good game! :)

I loved the art for the game, but the concept seemed a bit off for me at the start until the game started to make sense. I suggest making an interactive tutorial to make it more immersive from the start. But other than that a pretty solid entry !

Really nice style and intro, I really dig the VHS/CRT visuals.

I also was  a bit lost at the start, because it's hard to notice I was moving with only the enemies as reference. Maybe putting some green grid over the black background would give it a tron-esque style

I also hated the goddamn square, if you're not constantly moving it just bombs you with no warning. Could have him slide into screen as his first move, and chase from there, would be a simple solution.

The art style gives off major 90's vibes. It's an interesting game. I think you could improve the music, but overall, it's nice. Good job, congratulations!

I will appreciate your comment and punctuation according to your experience with my work. Greetings, and thanks for your support!

It's a gem! Visually, the art style is so 90's (and we approve it) and the sounds are really fitting!

On the gameplay side sometimes was really hard to understand what got us! But for a jam... phew! Well done!

This is great! Amazing polish. Super fun to play.
Also, the cubes moving on a grid like rooks, while you drift around freely, was a super creative idea that worked really well- I had to completely change my strategy and plan carefully while they were around!
A few small notes, in case they're helpful:

- The shop was off-center from the screen, so I couldn't see how much the upgrades cost.
- Having the shop on the Tab key was a little inconvenient, especially when 2 squares were around, so I couldn't mess up my movement. Perhaps Right Click or Spacebar would make opening the shop more streamlined.
- The turrets made the gameplay more interesting, however the only way I ever saw one was by specifically heading towards the bullets, specifically to see what they looked like. Otherwise, they are only experienced as "annoying bullets that can be quieted down by shooting offscreen for a few seconds."

All in all, terrific submission. Peace!
