Use of the limitation
The currency of the game are the bullets used to kill. So either player can refill their health spending 2 shells for 1 life or they can kill. But remember, there are more than one enemy and only one player. So the player would want to refill their life sometime ! Which creates a need of a balance in how to use bullets wisely, especially when you the player has to shoot from a swaying gun to a moving target , which has plenty of chance to miss !

Interesting entry, graphically it's ok and sound wise it's unbalanced but not that bad, for us! Don't know if there is a reason why the protagonist is only shooting right, but we find it strange enough to be a feature :D

We had a "bug" in which we got hit by a wolf and the wolf got stuck on our prone body, depleting our health to death because immediately after getting up we get hit again and again!

Fun game! I really enjoyed your take on the theme, and also found it pretty fun to try to shoot down all of the enemy ai! My one pointer for you is that the SFX are like really loud, even when I turn my headset down, and they are much louder then the BG audio which made the audio for me sound a bit clunky.  Overall nice job though!!

Thanks for playing the game !! I really appreciate your feedback !! I will definitely try on improving on the audio part , thanks for the suggestion !

Interesting mechanic but here are some points:

  • Too much text in the tutorial! Maybe for a commercial game it might be more acceptable but for a game jam where everyone is trying many games, I feel it’s a bit too much. Maybe use pictures / gifs?
  • Have some invincibility right after spawning for the player to get somewhere safer? Mainly the wolves (but the enemies also) attack me right after I spawn, making it impossible to make a comeback.
  • Wish I could shoot left…

Thanks for trying the game ! I will definitely try to improve upon the pointers you suggested

It's an interesting concept, and your art is quite nice. I suggest modifying your tutorial to make it more interactive, but overall, it's a good job. Congratulations!

I will appreciate your comment and punctuation according to your experience with my work. Greetings and thanks for your support.

Nice job, this was fun to play!

My only problem with this game is that the wolves farmed me 😭 I wasn't able to do anything because when I got back up they instantly hurt me again, so some invincibility frames would be nice! Also, great job on the sounds and art, they were really good!

Really fun game, good job!

Thanks !! I do feel that some sort of powerups would have helped but I really thinned out on time there. But a great suggestion !! Thanks for playing the game !

Really fun! Not being able to aim to the left breaks a lot of the levels though, if an enemy backs up into certain corners, you can't hit them any more.

Developer

Thanks for your comment ! Sometimes it does get like that but since all of the levels are procedurally generated, and so are the enemies, I had no possible way to control the placements and movements. Although after a bit of a time, I hope the enemies came out in the open though !

Oh no kidding, I assumed the levels were all pre-made. Cool!
