Nice concept, remind me zander from Battlerite. Also it well be good, to become invincible after you kill enemy, cuz its pity to die after win. And cool cubes animations

falling blocks was nice

It's a cool concept ! Pretty fun, maybe indeead a health system would have been great, and, if you have to develop it further later, a little particle effect or sound to say 'Yay I got a acard' or else.
Still great game, props for the Art !

Developer

Thank you very much! I will try to take some time to polish that GJ prototype. Nothing fancy but to make it more enjoyable like you suggested. 👍 Thanks again!

great concept, pretty buggy on death and needs a health system, but very cool nonetheless. It's satisfying to play, and would enjoy some polish.

BTW: the most fun i've had with this game is trying to beat it as fast as possible using bullets from dead enemies or previous games' bullets

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot for the encouraging words! The death usually feels super buggy because of a stupid rule that prevent the player to mix "color/element". I should have scrapped that...
And yes I'm also doing that with the bullets ahah! It's emerging gameplay from a big lack of polish. 😅

Ahah, at least I`m not only one who do this

Well, this has the potential to be a really cool game! Good job on the prototype :D

Developer

Thanks for the kind words. 🥰 Hopefully an opportunity to improve on the prototype will show up one day.

The concept of the game is very interesting, I have never seen anything like it and the way the cards move is very satisfying. But sometimes my player can get stuck in a wall when different level loads, other than that, it is very good! I would like to see an update!

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for the comment and sorry for the wall bug. I'm pretty fond of the concept so who knows? But I will reuse some of the tools and the techniques developed during the jam, that's for sure. 😁
