This game was supremely fun and addictive with simple gameplay mechanics. I love how you participated in 3 gamejams and managed to end up with a super cute game. I hope atleast that you win one of the jams you partipated in.
First off I rated you pretty highly on your gameplay and audio.. both very good, gameplay as I mentioned before was simple but executed perfectly. The audio was very catchy and long enough that even on loop was not irritating, but infact quite uplifting and cheerful.. great job!
For 9 hours you did amazing. I cant really offer any feedback as for 9 hours you seem to have balanced and not overscoped in order to get everything done in time. Great job :)
Thank you so much, Fmlad! That's very high praise haha...
Yeah, I think the game came out well for the time. There's more from my design document I didn't have time to implement, but I always try to map out my development in advance to stay on target, and always keep the game in a playable state.
I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
very weird and very nice game!
Thanks!
Very fun to play! I find the idea of a snowman trying to escape a California heatwave very amusing!
Really well done, especially in such a short time.
Thank you ^-^
Had great time playing it and even came back to it. Next time put more time in graphics and HUD and you are good to go!
I did this as a cross-section between Mini Jam and Mega TriJam 2019 as their time periods overlapped, fulfilling both jams' themes and requirements, and Mega TriJam required that the game was made in under 9 hours with 3 hours in art, music, and programming respectively, so this is about the limit of my art skills under 3 hours (while also using the art time to generate the levels using PNG level files as I explain on the game page) haha... 😅
Thank you so much for playing!
i like this.
decent for 9 hours of work. technically it didn't stick to the three input rule, but i personally believe that rule should only apply to gameplay and not menus.
i had so much fun playing it! great game!
The concept is super funny and I love that last screenshot of the snowman so much! haha
Thank you! I appreciate it :)
