The best game I've rated in this minijam.

Developer

Thank you!

I was impressed that you can make a game in the construct demo, amazing game!

Developer

Hahah, yeah i really had to minimize on events (in demo you can use only 100 events and 4 layers) but I managed to complete the game. Thanks for playing.

Not really much I can add to what has been said by everyone else except that you nailed the controls which felt really tight and smooth. Made the hardest challenges reward to complete as it was the players skill being tested. Very good :) Hope you win!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I really wanted to give player the feeling of acomplishment and I i kinda did it. Thanks for playing!

Absolutely incredible. Frustrating but addicting. I couldn't stop until I beat it.

I made a longer post on the game page itself, but this just knocks it out of the park. Wonderful job.

I've read your post and it is a really good constructive criticism, thanks for that. I'm 100% i will remeber things you pointed out when making next games (or developing this one). Thank you and congratulation on beating it!

I love the concept of this game. It's got one of those quick to learn, slow to master feel to it. It was far too difficult for me to complete but I did enjoy playing it!

Developer

Thanks! Appreciate good feedback.

I started having flashbacks of super meat boy for a second there.  Beautifully done,

Developer

Actually I was listening to SMB Soundtrack when creating this game. Thanks for playing!

Very nice! I had a lot of fun playing, although i noticed a few things that make the experience less enjoyable.

  1. the player doesn’t have a dedicated hitbox making getting hit feel just a tad unfair, especially with the fact that the player rotates while in air.

  2. when shooting, bullets spawn at a slightly random position. Although it can add juice in some cases, for your game it just makes things a bit unfair. Most noticeably with jumps where you need to shoot at a 1 tile target, and jumps against walls. Sometimes bullets will hit the wall instead, or miss the target entirely.

other than that, i has a lot of fun with it.

Developer

About the bullet spawning. They spawn at the bottom of the player. That's why it seems like they spawn randomly because player is rotating. I will try to fix that if the rules allow to. Thanks for playing and awesome feedback!

Wow, that takes some getting used to.  It's pretty challenging, but the mechanic is really cool and unique. My only complaint is the strobe flash when you reset haha.

Developer(+1)

Haha, I wasn't sure about this but i wanted to signalizee to player their death, not only to reset the level. Thanks for feedback!

i do love a challenge, very impressive!!!

Developer

It's a little too hard for me but it's a very nice game.

Developer

Thanks, yeah it's a bit too hard but thanks for playing!

Actually infuriates me because its so hard. 5 star for everything!

Developer

You are right I think I made it unintentionally too hard. Thanks for feedback!
