Very cool concept for a game, and a really good use of the theme/limitation. The execution of the dungeon spawning mechanic is pretty well done, although at one point I spawned inside of a block - I guess that doesn't really matter much because the character can shoot through the blocks, it's more of a nitpick than anything.

I will say the sounds did layer on top of each other at points, so the game would randomly get pretty loud - I would recommend preventing more than 1 instance of a particular sound playing at the same time, for example, you could have it so that before a sound plays, it stops all instances of that sound which are playing first. Not sure if that's possible in Godot but maybe it's worth looking into?

This is an idea with alot of potential. I don't know if you've thought of going further with it, but I'm sure you could develop it into something really special. Great work ^-^

Thank you for the very good feedback. I understand the concern with the audio, and will add it to my lift of things to fine tune. I'm considering going forward with it, but not entirely sure yet.

W...o...a...h!

The gameplay is insane! I cant believe how cool this is! I would of loved to see some tweaks... one item could of 'rooms' you can through out.. maybe enemies drop these or one item is available in each room. I was wanting a jump button to dodge incoming attacks as it got a little bit crazy. Performance was exceptional even after spamming the space button and then having to defend from the chaos! :D Also I would of very much enjoyed the firing to be auto while holding down the mouse button. Overall solid, fun and impressive!! I have no idea how you coded the rooms spawning and combing with current rooms on a grid but i loved it! :)

Really interesting game idea. It doesn't seem completely worked out yet, but I am seeing some potential here. You should definitely experiment a bit more with it and see what you can do with it.

The art style is very unconventional. I like it.

By the way, if you upload a web build to itch.io, remember to check the "this file will be played in the browser" checkbox. That way people can play it right on the site without having to download it.
