This was really fun! My only problem was I wasn't sure when the super attack that destroys the pillars was triggered. I also really liked how talking to the NPCs gave you a clue as to what do do. :)

Fun boss fight!

The fireplace is such a deep character, I loved it. :P

Woohoo! Beat it!

I died a couple of times, it felt like the projectile missed and still I died? Perhaps the hitbox is a bit off (or maybe I just suck ;-) ). Because of the randomness, it's just a case of avoiding projectiles until you win, right? If the super attack that could destroy pillars was telegraphed, and aimed for the player it could solve a couple of issues.

First, you'd have a reason to risk going closer to the enemy, to see if it's about to attack, instead of staying as far away as possible where it's safer. Also, you'd have to move behind the pillars to get them destroyed, and that would give the player some control over the progression of the game, rather than it being random.

Hope you find some of that useful! Great job with getting this done in such a short amount of time!

Hi :)

It was intuitively easy to figure out what to do.

The music fit the game well.

It was hard to figure out when the boss threw the large projectiles at the player.

And the collision was a little weird, some things blocked player movement, like the pillars and the fireplace, but things like the chairs and tables didnt.
