I almost left this game unplayed because I use ubuntu in my everyday pc. But the cover was so appealing that I entered an old win7 session just to play this game. Absolutely worth it, I must say!
What a round game. Amazing art, the lion sprite is simply stunning, the music and sound effects fit perfectly. It is a great use of the limitation, and the gameplay is really good, including different types of enemies, etc. Even the difficulty is really balanced, I struggle with the sword guys of round XII, and in the final phase, but the mechanic is rich enough to keep you playing, trying different strategies.
The only proposal that can come to mind is that, for this occasion or in others to come, you consider to upload an html5 version of the game (or/and a linux version), so more people can enjoy your work---which is great.

I'm not sure if we've got the necessary license, but I think HTML5 builds are a great idea so we'll try and get that sorted for next time. Thanks for the awesome feedback!

I really like it. The Art and Music feel good, the gameplay is quite fun for a bit and especially the commentator quotes bring something to the game :D
In the End i tried to die on round XV but couldnt, the screen wouldnt get darker although i had been hit a lot of times at 0 hp. Doesn't rlly matter tho, great submission!
Nice concept! I would suggest reducing the vibration effect tho :)
The game is fun and a bit challenging, I think I reached up to level 12. The sword dudes are OP. The use of new enemies are cool though. It changes how you approach and kill them.

Awesome game!! including a fun and direct campaign, Spectacle immerses you into the gory world of ancient Rome. Plus, it's challenging to boot.
