Fun & sadly very realistic!

Nice Idea, relaxing soundtrack and good point that you cloud be playing this on loop taking slices of pizza forever.

Thanks!

It turns out that there existed a famous coin thieve that worked in the fountain; the NY Times covered his story here. Apparently he collected up to 1000 $ in about 15 minutes of work.

Amazing Lore!

A wildly different game then I thought I would be seeing here, but in the best way possible! Super creative game with nice visuals

Developer

Thank you! Both for taking the time to play the game and for your encouraging words :D

Super cool approach to the limitation and theme. Conversation as the main mechanic is pretty clever. Maybe if there were variations between people, where you had to have a full conversation with them to get the money, that would be even cooler. I like the contrast between day and night, varying the music would enhance it further, and some progression between days would be cool to see. Nice work, good jammin!

Developer

We absolutely agree that a more involved conversation system, together with a sense of progress from one day to another, would have been a great upgrade. The same goes for reinforcing the contrast between day and night. If we found the time, maybe we try to implement some of these ideas. Many thanks for the good feedback!

Pretty interesting take on the limitation. Reminds me of the Monkey Island swordfighting, in ways. Would love to see the dialogue and choices to take more risks, some sfx, and at least a title card. Otherwise, good start! Keep learning Godot.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! To see dialogue and choices at once is definitely a good idea. With respect to the other updates, we planned to implement them, but much of our time went in understanding how Godot works and in putting out fires ^^. Thanks again for the feedback!

Yep, jams are great for learning engines, but bugs will take up so much time when you aren't used to the quirks inherent. Hope to see your work again in future jams

I really love the idea and how it perfectly fit with the limitation but the choices are a little vague so I'm quite confused how to make the best choice

Developer(+1)

Thank you! The choices are---in some cases---deliberately vague, although there always exist a connection (of some kind) between the two-coin-award choice and the initial sentence. But, of course, it can be a bit subjective.

Solid use of the player being the villain, the selection of dialogue choices was nice too!

Developer

Thank you, we would have liked to make the conversation system a bit more involved, but the truth is we run out of time. But glad you like the dialogs!
