I was just wondering if I could use scratch to make a game for this jam. I could submit my game via a link.

Do you know how to upload a scratch game to the game jam? i have problems trying to do so...

Thanks

no you'can't!

Why not?

Seems like a good idea to me. :)

ok then I’ll just use it. The rules didn’t say no!

yeah but scratch isn't exactly a good platform to use your probably not going to go very far with it

Thanks but I'll use it for now. I can't find any platforms really good for mac and based off javascript. any reconmendations?

Ct.js is one of the mini jam partners. I know nothing about it, but it uses JavaScript and it looks easy enough. (You should probably spend some time learning it before you go into a jam using it tho.)

Wait nvm. It was written in JavaScript but you use visual scripting. Still looks like a good alternative to scratch.

Wait nvm again you do program in JavaScript

Check GDevelop. It is for mac and it does not use code (though you can use javascript code for better efficiency if you want). I use it for game jams since prototyping on it is very easy...

any engines that have a built in sprite maker?

Again... Gdevelop...
