I really like the art and the setting of your game. I liked to play the detective!

I don't really see much use of the pause mechanic, as not much is moving by itself anyway.

I wanted to know who the culprit is, but it seems the game crashed or something when I tried to enter the name and validate :(.

Anyway, really nice effort, good job!

Thank you so much for your comment! We are truly sorry about your negative experience, this was our first game jam and we applied a day later from the beginning, we basically worked for 16 hours straight and weren't able to manage the pressure in the end. I had probably forgot to close the condition, try to play and write the name correctly, writing name and surname as it showed in the diary (including the miss/sir if it's in the name).

The pause mechanic is supposed to be the notebook, only when you pause the game you can review the clues and the countdown stops, I understand it needs a bit more polishing to be more clear.

Hope you'll like the final, we intend to expand and fix the game once the game jam is over, and write a couple more adventures for detective Chillettoni in the future!

Hey! Don't worry too much about that, I had a pleasant experience. Given that it's a game jam I understand the difficulties, I had a lot myself.

I am curious where you want to go with your concept.

Good job!
