Nice, thank you, I'll definitely be interested!

Hey friend, do you intend on proposing bundles for your different collections, like this one, Tiny Rangers, etc?
That would be really convenient.

Personal best score: 1550 !
I was researching if and how I should use procedural creatures in my games. The goal would probably be to use that in a bigger scale, to have potentially several different creatures on the screen.
How intensive is it computation wise ?

Thank you for your feedback, that's really helpful. I am currently working on improving it and releasing it one day :)

Thank you for your feedback!

The game was intended for mobile play ;), and I knew I'd like to work more on it and one day release it :).

Yes I couldn't implement the potion throw as well as I wished so that it's less confusing. It should be more clear what is going on.

So maybe show a "ghost" throw, which represent what will happen, and maybe the potion should be thrown and explode while in pause mode too.  Maybe the jump/fall should be slower?

Not sure exactly how to make everything really clear to the player. But I'll have to because I'd like to add some more different potion effects, obstacles and enemies :).

Thanks again!

Yes and I was thinking being able to wall jump or jump once on the edge of a platform, because sometimes I landed stuck to the side of the platform and could not go up :). It would also help the character movements feeling more dynamic I think.

Thank you for your feedback! I am glad you enjoyed it :). I will work more on it and improve it.

Nice game! I enjoyed the music at the start and I directly wanted to discover more about the world.

I didn't finish the game, I had a game over at the first room with cannons. I didn't have the courage to restart sorry haha, I was all sweaty when going up, as any mistake may force me to restart from the bottom. I found it ok to control the character, but sometimes it's not clear where we land, but after some practice I found a way to gauge the jumps more or less.

I was curious about the end :).

Good job!

Great game:). I couldn't finish though, I was stuck because I couldn't get the money, and I think I knew what to do next but this was blocking me. It's funny what this old man seems to go through haha. I wonder how he lost the keys. Nice littles touches here and there, like the letter.

Good job!

Thanks for your feedback! Yes good idea about the indicator ;) I want to improve the UI/UX so that will be part of it, I also need to find a way to make it clear what to do without the wall of text at the beginning. It needs to be intuitive.

Really cool game! The art is nice, although the background objects are maybe too bright to my taste, I sometimes lost focus on my ship haha. I think you should later add some sound effects to make it even more pleasing. The enemies are a bit too difficult, when I thought I lost one and was too far from him, I started mining and he rushed at me and killed me haha. Maybe make the enemies return to their initial location or remove them when the player is at a certain distance?

Good job!

Thank you for your feedback! I plan on working on this game and improving it yes :). I was already planning to add more potions with different abilities, obstacles, maybe enemies/bosses... And obviously improving the UI, the background etc... A lot to do haha.

The tutorial had this issue because I was seeing a text related to something I couldn't see at the top of the screen. And during gameplay I couldn't see it either. I think that's where we would see the total of $ that we have :).

Nice idea, I had a Link's Awakening vibe when catching and throwing the chickens haha.

I couldn't see the top of the screen for some reason, I'm on a small laptop screen, that's maybe why (on the browser version).

I like the cute art, the music and sound effects fit really well together.

Good job!

Thank you for your feedback. I tried this time to go as simple as I could, as I usually overcomplicate my games at every game jams, and this time I had only 3 days haha.

I actually have a lot of ideas to improve it, that's a quickly made prototype let's say.

Thanks again!

Thank you very much for your feedback!

Fun game to play! The music and art are great and fit well together.

Good job!

Good job!

Interesting mechanics and really good music! The controls are a bit complex, maybe because all of the actions are available from the start, not sure.

Nice art too.

Good job!

Good game design, the mechanics are intuitive and I understood each of them instantly, really interesting!

The intro is well implemented and gives the player the information on what it's going to be about.

Really great job!

Really fun game, I enjoyed playing until the end! The characters' descriptions are funny.

The art is cute, the sound effects are good. The music is a bit too overwhelming and it doesn't fit the calm tone of the game in my opinion.

Apart from that, good interpretation and usage of the limitation and the theme.

Great job!

Good job! :)

Thank you for your feedback!

The player character felt too slow or something?

Yes the hearts can spawn anywhere, I didn't have time to fix that sadly! I'm glad you enjoyed it anyway. Thank you again.

Hi, thanks for your feedback.

And yes you won haha :)! I agree with the dash, that would indeed be nice to have, that's a good idea. But I was really late before I really settled with an idea for the game. It's like the theme and the label customizations options, I could have used them but I didn't think about it. Most of the work has been done at the last minute ^^.

Thank you for your valuable feedback, I appreciate it!

Thanks for your feedback! Indeed a dash would have been fun to add, probably when your weak point is at its maximum size as suggested by someone else.

Hey, you can download the playable version now! :) I still recommend the desktop versions, HTML is buggy for some reasons (sound and graphics are buggy).

Hey, you can download the playable version now! :)

Hi, thank you. I tried to join bakenshake  on discord. Let's see!

Thanks for your feedback! Yes, it is frustrating indeed! :)

I hope to see you try again later.

Hi, thanks for your feedback! Indeed, all versions are corrupted. I asked in the community tab how can I submit the fix, I am still waitinf for an answer, I don't know how to join the organizers.

Please check back again later!

Hi all, how can I upload the non buggy versions of the game?

I just changed the way I exported the game (from non-debug mode to debug mode). By exporting with non-debug mode the game crashes when changing to the second scene.

This bug occurs in all the versions currently uploaded.

Thank you!

Thank you for your feedback! Indeed it's not working... It seems that's because of the export with no debug... don't know why.

I'll try to solve that.

That was fun see you play it XD!

Hey! Nice concept! I am glad you enjoyed playing the game. It's made to be shared :).

I'll have a look. Thanks for notifying me.

Thanks for your feedback :). I see, I tried to zoom out at some point but maybe it should be a little more. You can still control the length of your dashes depending on how long you keep the keys pressed, that gives you more control :).

Thanks for your feedback! :)

Thanks for playing. I'm happy you enjoyed it! :)

The game is fun and well thought out. The gameplay is addictive, the whole bargain thing, and pressing E to make the offer increase.

Good work!

Hi, thanks for your feedback!

The difficulty is the representation of the maximum number of enemies that can be there at a time. But at higher levels this system is not balanced enough. The enemies should also appear more frequently, else there is no change to the effective difficulty, as you pointed out.

Also, the game is missing the boss fight I wanted to make :)!

Thanks for playing!

They are in fact followers of the Gumball Machine God (that you see in the background throwing gumballs). They may be following it out of fear though. who knows...yet?
