I had the same issue with the bat which I couldn't take down. Really nice concept, similar to mine in terms of defending player, adding sounds and more juicy visuals would be nice too!
Game seems like it has some potential. I would place the character in the center of the screen though and also the bat enemy would not recieve my inputs and so i died no matter what. overall not bad. great job!
