Use of the limitation
Treasure Hunter is a platform game where you collect coins, but those coins weigh you down and make it difficult to... platform.

Very nice game. Loved all of it!
Altogether a very good package. Really nice art and music, lovely animation, clever level design.
Slightly frustrating at times, but fun from start to finish. I particularly like the "toll gate" mechanic--it forces you not to merely avoid coins, but to strategically collect the minimum number.
One suggestion if you were to develop this game further: you might want to implement some kind of reward for finishing a level with more coins. This adds further tension to the risk/reward analysis.
This is entirely on point! I’m gonna flesh this out a bit – watch this space etc – and that’s the first thing I want to do. That and improve the platforming.
This was a great game with very nice sprite work, smooth mechanics, and satisfying sound design. I only have two complaints. First, it seems you're using rounded colliders for the player so he slips of edges, which made some jumps harder than they should've been. Second, I just want more. More levels, more cool mechanics, more everything. Great work.
I’m actually going to flesh this out a bit more, I think! Thank you for playing – I’m entirely with you on your complaint re: the rounded colliders. Unity’s rigid bodies are unforgiving!
amazing game the movement was really responsive. :-)
Nice Game....i think that a coyete time jump would be a good choice for this game.Great job
Oh yeah, for sure! I think I might flesh this out a bit further, which the first priority is coyote time (and holding down the button to jump higher/further/etc). It could take some time. I’m still a noob.
Best game i see.
Best graphics by far! :)
Ha, thank you! I wish I could take credit, but it’s all o_lobster’s doing!
gameplay is pretty good and the aesthetic fits too
You've made my pixel art look like a joke and have caused my brain to hurt
Oh god I just realised my credits edit didn’t go through on bad internet! The art is all from o_lobster’s fantastic Metroidvania pack!
Oof, I made all my pixel art and it looks bad lol
I am the worst artist in the world. Like, a stick figure is beyond me. So you’re doing great!
