Presentation is really good. the tongue execution could be better.
This game really deserves more attention and ratings. The presentation alone already brings it up quite a bit, and the gameplay is good but I think the way the tongue is executed is not that enjoyable, I feel like having a bit of velocity/momentum to it would've made it feel better, like, either acting as a standard swinging thing, or what would've been more unique is if it was more like a ziphook, you hooked onto something, it pulled you towards it and then flung you with the velocity it generated.
That being said, this is just personal preference, the way it's build feels good enough to play, would've liked to see more levels that put this to the test however.
Regardless, did a great job!
Adding some momentum to the grapple was something I wanted to do but in the end, I just couldn't find enough time to add. Thank you for the constructive criticism though, really helps out.
It is a nice start for a game. The sprites were very nice, as the sound! Hope you develop it more (is a bit weak only like this, only one level). But the concept for a nice platformer is there!
Thanks a lot for the reply, but yeah, the lack of content was a big thing for me aswell. I was fairly late as it was though so wanted to get it submitted. Hopefully will come back to it in the future though.
Great idea, enjoyed it a lot. Slightly reminiscent of Terraria action, I wish there were more levels to play
Cheers man, really appreciate that. I really wanted to get more content in but was just quite busy during the jam, maybe some time in the future though.
