Use of the limitation
The limitation was 'Make it a Roguelike', so the best what I could do is for 'Run based gameplay' - You need to continuously run to collect food & for 'Procedurally generated content' - Food and enemies are procedurally generated. If you die, you need to start all over again.

I liked the game! There was not much food and I ended up running in circles to find some which drained my health. I don't know if I did it wrong. I liked the art style, music and sound effects. Nice!

Thanks for playing and for the kind words :) ... the food will appear as time goes by ...do not run around searching for it unless you can see it, because it will decrease your energy/health....wait for the food to appear and then run towards it ... also don't forget to eat it using the 'E' key.

Kudos for making a 3d game! The mouse look is a little buggy but other than that it performed well. Gameplay is very simple, some challenge besides the time would be nice, like platforming or make the enemies move around a little.

Developer

Thanks for playing and for the feedback ...and thanks for the link, I always love to watch people playing my game :)

The style and the vibe is super nice. Maybe it needs something else, idk, some challenge, something that make you improve or something. BTW I like games with some back story!

Developer

Thanks for playing and the feedback... since i had to do the game in 3 hours (Trijam rules), I was not able to add more stuff to it.

Oh I see. In 3 hours you have a good base! Imagine if you polish and add things for two days (4:44 rule)

First of all: I really like the audio and visuals, they are really peaceful and calm. But the overall mechanic is a bit confusing and there often isn't enough stuff to collect and it can get boring. I think the overall story is great, and you could build out a nice story-focused Animal-crossing like game, but currently it lacks in gameplay.

Developer

Thanks for playing and the feedback... appreciate it!

I tried to make it as realistic as possible ...that's why you need to wait for food to appear and it might get boring sometimes.. but ya, that was the intention.
