A bit slow but the idea is fine. The rooms could use a purpose other than looking good though, and I found myself frustrated with not knowing when I can use the book.
oh yeah space for book I did not mention it sorry and the reason player is slow bcz otherwise player will go for the door easily before the ghosts even come near
Oh I know that space activates the book (listing the controls down in the description is perfectly fine) but I can't just activate the book whenever. There is some timer or proximity mechanic involved, and I as the player need some feedback on when I can use the book.
yes you are right there is timer sorry I din't show the timer on screen I should have and honestly timer is a bit wonky. thank for the review though. really appreciate it.
I agree with the comment about the controls..
The idea otherwise was fun! Once I realized I could kill the ghosts I started enjoying it!

The game is cool but I think missing a color scheme or post-processing.

Yeah during a few days game jam, it's very difficult to polish stuff, no worries!
yeah but the thing is I start making it when there is only 18 hours left in the game jam and I submitted it like when 6 hours left so basically I made it in 12 hours lolz. I am on a game jam spree. Just finished another game in around 3 hours for the 3 hours game jam it's called SUPER CIRCLE. if you are interested lolz.
