How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
The main task is to restore the gems to the ward stone to save the day. A timer keeps track of how long it has taken the player and they can submit their name to a leaderboard at the end. The gems are magical and can only be carried by a special bag that can be purchased with enemy loot drops.

This was a fun game, I played through till the end and I had gotten all 3 gems to rescue the kingdom! The player movement felt very smooth and responsive, and i enjoyed the feel of throwing a dagger at enemies. The map was huuuge, which had pros and cons, it was pretty cool to explore but didn't fit great with the tower defense aspect as it was very easy to run away from enemies. But enemies didn't do anything to the player so you didn't actually need to run away lol. Buying upgrades from the enemy loot drops was a nice feature. Another small critique is that I wish I could have held down space/lmb in order to shoot the daggers rather than having to click every time. The art could use some more practice but I appreciate that everything is in a consistent style and is unique looking. Sound goes a long way to adding polish and I think even adding a simple royalty-free background song would have helped a lot. Overall I think this is an interesting concept for a game and the execution is well done with responsive player movement and a fun attack mechanic. Keep up the good work!

I just wanted to say thank you for all of the feedback. This was only my second game jam and I'm learning a lot but detailed feedback like this is invaluable. BTW enemies did make the player lose coins but I understand why you probably missed it lol I think a major area I need to improve is providing information/feedback to the player.

Thank you again!
