When I picked up the bow I realized. Why be the hero of this game, when you can be a ridicules bullet hell dungeon boss?

Yes... Spam space as fast as you can... they will all die! All fall before the mighty arrow spammer Voidsay... my arrow storm is so dense it will block out the sun! Nno one will defeat me!

Oh snap... I accidentally picked up a sword... oh no... I am going to die, am I not?

On a more serious note please remove that horrible screeching in the main menu. Movement felt a little off, but I can't quite put my finger on what is actually wrong. Good game.

I was wondering why no one commented about my God awful music at the beginning. First try at Bosca Ceoil. I am still working on the movement bit. Dont know how I can smoothen it.

A pretty cool game. I've seen a similar game before (not in the jam), but the game is pretty interesting, I like the enemy variety, and since you used GDevelop I partially understand that polishing the game was tough a bit. Overall, great game!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. Well, GDevelop dont have much, other than layer effects, to add some pop . This idea could be a common one - maybe I saw it in some other game.

I've seen it be interpreted in many different ways, here's an example https://harshit-arora.itch.io/duck-vs-chicken

Developer

Yeah, maybe this one. I cant place it though. Thanks for sharing.

Very cool concept, needs difficulty tweaking to be fun. The potential to be oneshot by melee weapons since there's no i-frame after damage is frustrating. Having so little warning when pickups drop and the speed that they despawn makes it hard to plan around them (maybe that's the point). There seemed to be an odd effect where picking up something made it harder for me to change direction? It is hard enough to move already, but it became harder intermittently. I don't think there was any slip'n'slide pickup, but it felt like I was sliding on ice randomly at times. The bow doesn't properly represent the direction the arrow is going to go, it's just a bit off. The ice projectile hit sound is clearly overlapping and playing repeatedly, because I refuse to believe that someone intentionally made that sound as terrifyingly loud as it was.

Developer

I will keep an eye on all those points. Thanks for the feedback.

Nice game, very satisfying gameplay! I had some troubles with the inertia of the movement, but I got used to it. Good job!

I am planning to smoothen out the controls. Thanks for the feedback.

Nice arcade feel! Maybe try to turn off the filtering and get that nice crispy 8 bit look.

Developer(+1)

thank you. And point duely noted

Good idea. Controls feel a bit weird.

Developer

I will work on the controls. That seems to be the feedback from most of the play tests

My inputs don't appear to do anything, the game is in the top left corner of my screen when in fullscreen mode.

Developer

i will check and get it fixed

Developer

I think I have fixed it. Can you check now?
