Really good for a first game! I loved the little details in the graphics - the particles, the layering of the trees in the foreground and background etc. The game felt very polished and nice to play, and the increasing speed adds that extra challenge and excitement. I would have liked some SFX or music, but overall this is very good! Well done!
Thanks! I really appreciate your feedback
Hey!
As rookie in gamedev myself, I think that for beginner game, this is very impressive! Art style is harmonized and not all over the place, controls are precise, animations smooth. Basic gameplay is very basic, but that's fine, I guess you've learned a ton of useful stuff and that counts. One advice that would elevate gameplay a lot is to add more visual (splash some particles or do camera shake) and audio feedback for the player (sound when you get run over, you jump or move). Overall well done!
I did score over 200 so I guess thats not bad :D
Thanks! Definitely agree with you on adding some more effects
Pretty game. this is your first jam so congrats for that and I understand why it's so simple and sweet! You should be proud!
I think you could have at least added a the end screen to show my score separately but that's just a minor thing.
Thanks for making such a sweet game!
Thank you! I really appreciate it. Agreed, that would be much better.
Very nice little game, I like the graphics and the feel of it. Would be nice if it paused when you die for a second so you can see your score.
Thanks a lot! Yep, totally agree with you
Well done on your first submission! With more skill and time you'll be making more complete projects in no time at all
Thanks! Definitely hope so :)
