Experience with the jam.
Joined late, and had my time cut short because I'm going away, but for me, less time means more fun when it comes to game jams

I really enjoy this game, but it was really hard, expeccialy for this reason: you controlled the player with arrow keys and mouse pointer, this means that you are constricted to put the hands in a strange way to play the game, if you give the possibility to choose beetwen the two types of controls it would make the game better. Also the combat system itself is pretty hard to control.Keep working on this awesome game :)

Yeah, I don't like the controls either. It was due to me using the free version of Construct 3. It only lets me use 50 events, and adding WASD controls would take 4 events. This game uses all 50 events though...

Got it. Now all makes more sense

Simple concept. The swing movement could be great, but should be rewarding, it misses some stun and push effect to fill impactful.  I like the graphics and music. Well done.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback. you're right, the game did need a bit more impact and feedback upon hitting an enemy.

Well it's a really cool game the sword mechanic is original, the graphics are pretty good, but it's hard to play (for me at least...) 10/15
