Rules suggestion!

Hey, so a really helpful thing would be to specify that any updates post voting period should only be uploaded as separate files, so that it would be perfectly clear which game deserved the votes, so that Mouse wouldn't be swayed any unfair way. Specifying that really helped during the recent monkey jam by Connor.

Cause even if your game has bugs that you didn't have time to fix, those are in the spirit of game jams and should be considered during both the voting period and the mouse stream!

Hello, clarification has been added to the rules

Once the submission period ends on September 1st, no updates to game content are allowed until voting is complete. Once voting is complete, bug fixes and quality of life fixes are allowed up until Mouse plays the game on stream. These UPDATES SHOULD NOT INCLUDE ADDITIONAL CONTENT and should be uploaded as separate versions. Updates to the game page, cover art, and game name are allowed at any time during the event. Entries caught violating the no-update policy upon review pre-stream will be automatically disqualified.
