Very difficult. The character responds quite well, but we quickly struggle with the camera which prevents us from seeing, and the jumps which never go high enough (or too high) and which each time miss the goal. The hands taken by the movement of the character and his action of jumping, it is all the more difficult to press at the right moment on Shift. Afterwards, the aesthetics of this game is an assumed choice, with primary colors both for the character and for the elements of the scenery. Lowpoly meshes, like synthpop music, crystallize these aesthetic choices: why not. Still, I had too much troubles to be able reach the end (assuming there was one), despite my relentless jumping against the Giant Beanstalk's stem. I also appreciated the menu that appears with Esc, and which allows you to quit the game properly.

If the camera was constantly facing down, resetting the game should fix that. Otherwise, I'm not sure what issues the camera had. You shouldn't have to jump against the beanstalk at all, I made sure all the places you're supposed to stand were flat

I found grabbing the spheres with shift to be somewhat finicky but I otherwise loved my experience climbing a massive beanstalk!

Do you mean that the button is finicky, or the grab mechanic itself is finicky? As it is, you have to be touching the sphere to grab it, I might increase the radius if it's the mechanic. Otherwise, I plan to have remappable controls if I can figure that out.

I think it’s the grab radius. Sometimes I stick to the sphere and sometimes I miss it. I might just need to git gud though 😁
