You made Guy's Top 5!

Nice shooter! I included it in my Movie Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to check it out! :)

I had fun shooting the zombies! I like the counter and music/SFX. I think the sprite was antialiased, not sure what engine you used but there are ways to get the sprites imported crisper/cleaner. Fun game! (mention that you can use WASD it was a lot easier than arrow keys)

I actually really enjoyed this. At first I tried the arrow keys to move but was pleased at finding WASD worked just as well, especially since R was bound to reloading. The chill music in the background as you popped folks was pretty nice and definitely my style of humor.

Nice start. An ability to zoom out a little would be nice. It's hard to tell if there will be zombies right next to you because they're just off screen. Though that may be a design decision.

Very good start. Though it was so vague I couldn't tell the movie scene. The things I like are that the shooting and the reloading stop the characters movement, which if this is supposed to be an in experienced person caught in a zombie apocalypse is very true to life. Although it would have been nice had that been explained at the start. I also like the manual reloading of the gun. now if you plan on continuing development of the game after the jam, some things that would be nice is if you had some audio cue if you were low on ammo, so you could do a tactical reload, and an audio cue to when you've agrroed a zombie. And along the lines of reloading I'd suggest having to find ammo and perhaps having tactical reloads lose you ammo. In terms of visuals, some gore and story telling elements in the mall would be nice. As for the music some more variance would be nice, or keep the loop but have it duck down when you enter combat and have some combat music go on. And if you wish to go even further beyond, a minor leveling system for the character would be nice. As the game stands though it is fun, but gets boring quick, maybe have it so you clear room by room to get to the total zombie kill count.
