Anything you want to say to players before they play?

Challenging game! I included it in my Movie Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to check it out! :)
It's a cool concept to kite the ball all over but I feel like it's too hard and I cannot really progress. I like the work you chose it's a fav of mine.
Thanks for the review ! I am tweaking the difficulty to make it more accessible to players but its taking longer than expected with my day job on the side
Awesome! I had a good time let me know how it goes!
ouch... it's really hard... I could not make it more than 30s without getting caught or having a pour little wolf trampled. I liked the concept. It's pretty interesting and could turn out to be an interesting type of escape game. Made me think that this could also be interesting with mazes.
Here are some comments:
1. The arena is very small... I'm not sure if that's intentional but it could perhaps be easier with a larger arena
2. It would not be a bad thing if the loosing condition was a little more flexible... Like allowing for 1 or 2 animals to be caught before game over
3. Some sound feedback would really help. Some rolling sounds for the big ball and footsteps for the player would provide a better atmosphere.
4. Like in the movie... perhaps being able to hit the ball with something would also help.
Thank you for the feedback and suggestions ! I was thinking of having many levels with different bosses that are killable (hitting them like in the movie) and I like your maze idea a lot. I didn't have enough time to have a decent level design within' the gamejam time limit but I will hopefully come back to developing these as an update.
The game ends way too fast! I played for sometimes but couldn't make it any more further. Other than that, well done on the mechanics and graphics.
I enjoy the feedback !
I agree, I may have overdone it on the difficulty side of things, I am experimenting with tweaking that at the moment and may update the game soon to be a little easier and longer.
I didn't do too well, though I liked the novelty of the concept. I would have liked some alternative control schemes - I think using the mouse to control the player felt a bit imprecise compared to arrow keys. I found kiting the ball around a tree to be the best strategy in the attempts I had but I'm not sure if I would have been able to do better with some alternative controls. Thanks for the game, anyway!
Thank you for the feedback !
It is actually my first finished and published game ever so its kind of difficult to grasp the concept of difficulty balance yet. Its really useful to me to know how players like yourself did. Thank you so much for that.
I like the concept, and the controls are pretty easy... but it feels like it ends too quickly? If you provoke the demonic ball it'll go faster than the player and it's kinda hard to avoid. If you do manage to avoid it, it goes after the wildlife, and that also causes a game over. It's an okay game, I just wasn't feeling it after a bunch of tries.
Thanks for the feedback.
I understand what you mean and I agree on that point. I will tweak the increase in speed and figure out the best values for a better experience.
Thank you!
