Very fun and challenging game! I included it in my Music Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :)
Totally outside my skill level, but still a lot of fun. Love the visuals and how they're synced so well. Well done.
After playing Just Shapes and Beats last year at EGX (Which was amazing btw) you definitely have the concept right. And I must say that I loved every little "bit" of it :P You got the syncing of the music and the shots pretty much spot on. My only issue would be not having invincibility frames for long enough after you get hit.
Cool entry! Love the sync, creating interesting choregraphies all around the space. Visuals are minimalists, but efficient.
My only issue would be the stunning when the player get hits. I find it odd, and most of the time it guarantee to be hit again. But at least, the player don't die immediately after being hit, which is REALLY really good. There's eve a continue system! The game is hard, but not too punitive, just how I like it. :)
This is a fine example of how action direction can make such a huge difference in a game! Choreographed perfectly with the music too! This feels intense, varied and really fun! Just awesome!
Love Just Shapes and Beats! Where's my dash tho!?
It bugged out on me a few times, but really amazing job doing this in just a weekend.
