Hi everyone!
I've joined My First Game Jam before but never managed to make time for it - but that is going to change this year.
I'm planning on using Twine to create a simple narrative game, based on a story I've had in mind for a while but never properly developed. I'm trying to keep things simple and focus on having a complete, compelling narrative with some simple decision making involved.
I've experimented with making games on the text adventures website before but I've never managed to complete one and have always been a bit too ambitious with the length/number of options/etc.
My main goals for this jam:
- Become confident in using Twine
- Learn more about creating a compelling narrative for a game
- Have a complete, playable game I can get feedback on
Here's my current introduction:
First challenge: find a way to make the the ™ symbol show up in the title!
I'm really looking forward to seeing what everyone else comes up with, I think this jam is such a cool idea.
