Great work on making a fun platformer with a boss fight. Some improvement ideas:  Make the jumps a bit more forgiving, having space as jump (so common these days), a little bit more character animation would have been great, allowing the boss to land anywhere on the platform + some indication would make the fight a bit more fun :)

good game, did you do the art too was it made in construct? I think the death needs a transition to restart. it's a little abrupt. I'm still trying to figure it out myself

Developer

Thanks, it's made in Godot and I did the art myself yes. Yeah, if I had some more time I would change the death. Thank you for the feedback, much appreciated!

i like this game. music, art, and game-play was good and recoil of the gun was a good touch to this game.

Thank you so much for playing! Glad you liked the recoil!

Really cool game! The boss level was a really nice touch.  My only criticism is that it feels like the player falls down too quickly.

Developer

Thank you! I'll definitely take a look at the player falling too quickly.

I really loved this game! Great job!

Controls, retro graphics and music all complement the game so well! Specially the movements didn't feel like a problem at all unlike other games including mine. You even fleshed out a whole boss level! Hats off, one of the best games I played on this jam!

Developer

Thank you so much!
I wasn't sure about the music but glad you liked it.
I had so much fun creating the boss level and I'm proud of it even if it's pretty simple :p
