December 31st, 1999. In just a few hours, the world is going to end
Or so say the dozens of neo-Luddite fringe groups going around parroting the Y2K conspiracy theory, the fear that computers will be incapable of adjusting to the new millennium, causing society as we know it to come crashing down. All the more likely: business will go on as usual, and our teenaged main character will suffer through a few hours of drab labor at a local convenience store.
But what if the fringe groups are right? What if, rather than a minimum wage paycheck and new opportunities for novelty New Year's glasses, something far darker is on the horizon? And how do we treat menial workers during societal challenges?

Big Slurps at the End of the World is a short, silly narrative game-based exploration of the above question. Developed in Unity by a team of five with only the most basic of basics under their belt, it is a chance for us to delve into the game production process. We can't wait to share what we've made with you all!
I'll be updating this page with snapshots of the development process as we move along.
