Free the whales, free the birds, free the apes, free the herds!

I'm thinking of a rythm-like side runner where the main character releases all sorts of trapped animals.  Here's a pretty simple layout of the gameplay:


I have barely touched JavaScript before so this will be my first attempt in doing so. I have used actionscript and haxe, but I am looking for a new workflow so hopefully I can find a niche through this journey. 

I will also be using adobe animate as my work environment to assist me with the graphic portion. I feel very comfortable with it so it helps to have this setup to go on. Unfortunately the sources for developing games in this kind of platform is not that extensive so there are going to be some hurdles, but at least they're plenty about createjs so I should be just fine for this level of game dev.

Got things going, but ran out of time for what I had in mind as I was too busy to put time into it, but I enjoyed working on this nonetheless. I may continue working on it depending on what available time I have.
