Very simple yet addicting gameplay!

Very fun! I felt like my skills improved when I yelled at the lumberjacks like a barbarian while killing them

Just like the previous commenter, I also love the thumbnail and pico-8 games, i definitely need to make one myself. As for the game, it's pretty fun and simple, but I had a hard time shooting at people. Perhaps it's the combination of the not-too-smooth movement and the way you're not always shooting directly in front of you, but it feels kind of off in a way.

Hi Wenderly Games! Thanks for the great feedback :)

I agree, the accuracy does make it quite difficult + only shooting infront of you. I was trying to plan a way to make this intuitive, but as Pico-8 only natively supports arrow key + two action button input I was having a hard time. I planned on making the X button a secondary attack that had a homing-missile like behavior, but didn't add it due to time constraints. I also wanted coins to exist and you would be able to upgrade accuracy + health + damage, etc but I cut that too :(

I really appreciate the input :D

Love that thumbnail!
I have a soft spot for pico8 games, just really fascinate me

, Had fun dealing with those pesky lumberjacks, got pretty bloody! Thought I felt that mother nature was a bit on ice but that added a layer to the game, some chip-tune music would have been cherry on the cake :3

Yeah I definitely need to learn how to compose music in pico-8! Thank you so much for playing my game, and for the great feed back :)

Let me know if you make a pico-8 game by the way, I'd love to play it :D
