The game art style made me chuckle, I enjoy how the hand follows the screen + the animals are funny. Only thing is I'd give more of a hint on where to go, or what to do :)
This is actually fantastic. I love the clicking sound when text is being written, it's very.. pleasing? Or it feels right? Something like that. I think I'm trying to say, it's awesome. Great art and writing too, I enjoyed this!

I agree, the accuracy does make it quite difficult + only shooting infront of you. I was trying to plan a way to make this intuitive, but as Pico-8 only natively supports arrow key + two action button input I was having a hard time. I planned on making the X button a secondary attack that had a homing-missile like behavior, but didn't add it due to time constraints. I also wanted coins to exist and you would be able to upgrade accuracy + health + damage, etc but I cut that too :(
Woooo I finished! That was a close one. I cut quite a few features out as I was running out of time as I missed the first 5 days-ish and also couldn't work on it for about 4 days during the last week. I planned on having some different enemies, an upgrade system, and an alternate attack. Maybe I'll come back sometime and add those in the future.
