"Finished" game! (And a question)

I finished my first game!

I'm so happy to have joined the jam, it's the first time I post a game (a demo even) on the internet and it's good to give me some courage for the future. I also learned how to work with a deadline set, which is great, and how to make a schedule that is both healthy and productive for me.

Overall it was an important experience that I'm proud for not giving up (because I almost did). It's a little achievement I completed in january that made me a little more happy about myself :)

Now, I'm not so sure if I'm proud of the game as a whole, but I really liked the story I came up with and I started to feel even more excited to work on the game. The story had major changes and this is one of the reasons I couldn't complete it, but I'm happy it did because now I can take my time to create something I can be proud of.

I also have a question: I can only post it here on itch.io right? My idea was to post in the rpg maker forum linking the page here on itch.io, but I understand if this counts as posting outside the jam and going against the rules.

But isn’t it that you should refrain from crossposting for the time of the jam? Once it’s over, then the author is basically free to manage their creation as they please.

Yes, I agree. I just wanted to make sure so there isn't any misunderstanding.
