Very interesting game, love the graphics. I included it in a compilation video series of all of the Mystic Western Game Jam games, if you'd like to take a look :)

Lovely entry!!!

I loved this game. it has good visuals which contrasted light and shadow perfectly. The story was intriguing and the developer was spot on creating endless skies.

Nice style, love the atmosphere..felt like a messed up Rango! :)

I really enjoyed this game.

This game is definitely worth playing. Fascinating atmosphere, nice visual style!

West of Heaven has the most complete traditional game mechanics and best pacing of this jam as far as I can tell so far. Nice!

I love this sort of game. Would love to see it as a full game.

Great concept brilliantly executed. Loved the visuals too!

This is like a cowboys dream or maybe he got high with the Indians....love it!

This has to be played. given the development time, I'm suitably blown away.

West of heaven is a fun little atmospheric game that will bring joy to one's heart. It screams "hey look Red dead redemption and Monkey Island just made passionate love by the campfire and they made a baby". A must play because this John Wayne is a bit more Bruce and a bit more insane. If you are looking for a short new game to try and to quote the village people you should definitely go west (of heaven)!

I love the visuals on this, the way buildings appear in the dust is quite beautiful, the only point that bugs me is the repeated dirt texture, it detracts from the feeling of large dessert spaces and makes it look slightly blander, very minor compared to the highpoints of the visuals though. The gameplay is adequate, if not especially interesting in its current form, I saw it more as a way to keep movement to find new set-pieces as opposed to fun in and of itself. The camera could also use work (all minor points for a jam game, amazing work really), I found I wished I could get a better view of some set-pieces, and walking backwards felt awkward.

All in all, fantastic work, and don't take my critiques as negative, they're just things that could be improved with more time.
