I really enjoyed this! Felt cinematic and the idea was a nice twist on unreliable narrator being a more knowledgeable, but not all knowing future self.

Fav parts:
-the pixel art and colors.
-the animation for the mechanic!
-the story bits regarding "we were once friends" and "glad I had to sabotage cuz I got to talk with the engine mechanic" were bits that added depth to something that was immediately more plot centric than character centric

Very fun intro to what I assume would be a grand adventure.  Looks like it took a darn good amount of work too!

Super fun concept! After the second "loop" when Ted sent the letter to himself, I laughed out loud and it was a great moment. From then on though I started to get kind of confused about the story and I think it went on for too long. Also, this is probably a small thing but I kept getting "Anthony" and "Andrew" confused since their names are so similar. Nice work!

This was a clever take on the theme. I liked the alternate timelines aspect. I found myself getting lost at times due to there not being a clear indication of how to get to places. But the story and writing were pretty cool.

We expected navigation to be easy due to the small size of the map. In further development (if we continue) we'll work it out. XD

Your artwork is gorgeous! I would have love to see (hear) audio effects.

Some feedback:

  • The professor was jumping too high :D
  • When we sailed, when I went out, I saw that we were still in the harbour

Very nice! I like the time-loop concept.

Thank you for the feedback!

1. I guess it's fine, at least for now

2. Yep. We crunched a lot over it so we needed to reuse our assets as much as we could

Absolutely gorgeous pixel art!! you really should add sound after the jam, this game deserves it!

Developer

Thanks! We're not sure about continuing the development but if we do, there will be a good pile of music and effects.
