Once you've found the mysterious tomato, you've finished almost all of the content so far. My power went out and I lost a bunch of progress, so there's not a whole lot =(

You've really intrigued me, here. It sucks that you lost so much progress because I feel like this was going in an interesting direction!

Is that the same shader you used for B+W Jam back in April? Still looks awesome. The writing is great, too. I especially like the moments of introspection "You" had during the first segment.

Great work, and I can't wait to see more!

Thanks! It's not the same shader, but it's definitely similar. I'm going to have it switch back and forth between the second person and first person perspectives in the two game types. The working version on my pc is now about 90% up to where it was before the power went out.

This had hints of a deeper backstory and lore, as well as a subtle atmosphere of dread. It gets a little confusing as to why the second part is five thousand years later, but maybe that'll be expanded upon in the full version? Anyway, I liked the white circles effect used to indicate which objects are clickable. It shows up surprisingly well against the black and white beckground and is a nice touch. I hope you can develop this further!

Thanks for playing! It will still be a little abstract in the full version, but it will make more sense. And I hate pixel hunting in point and click games, so I wanted to be very generous with the hotspots and being able to tell you were hovering over something, so I'm very glad that worked well for you. I have the full narrative written out and I'm almost back to the point I was before the power went out here on my working version on my pc at home.

I absolutely ADORED the intro sequence with the omnious mood and music and the fmv style low bit pictures reminding me of games like lost in time... then it became a kind of clunky platformer ^^;; I ended up jumping i guess where I wasn't meant to go and walking right and falling off the map oops.. But if you continue the game like the intro is I'd LOVED to see more!! :D

Developer(+1)

Haha yeah. That's all the content I had at the time. The plan is to go back and forth between the two modes (after I make the platformer less janky lol). Thanks for playing!

i'd refine the first person perspective more so than the playformer, i think you could make a really compelling and interesting horror game with that eerie low-bit fmv :D
