I played through this once and liked it. Definitely enjoyed the narrative- it was tense, sad, regretful, and the choices you had to make genuinely felt meaningful.
There were a couple errors in your game, starting on the "Home-team went disturbingly quiet after that" page. You might wanna run a spellcheck, too.
Overall, I liked it- clean up some of the game jam jank and you've got something solid here.
I like the setting of "how do you spend the time when your world is going down in x years", reminded me of the Three Body Problem series. The visual presentation is great, too. The narrative feels more like a plot structure, which could evolve into a fairly fat book :) I played 2x, the ability to shift perspective from the one going on the journey to the one left behind is nice.
There were some error messages later in the game, but fortunately, the story still continued.
Thanks very much for trying it out. Annoying there was an error, thought I got everything but this was made in a bit of a rush to catch end of the jam. Three Body Problem might have been an accidental inspiration having only read it in the past year!
