Soothing graphics and all-in-all a very nostalgic feel! A very zen game, I would say, but then I met the boss bot and since the other enemies were pretty much cannonfodder, I was not prepared for when the boss sprayed me..! :)
Nice! Along the two levels I was missing a bit of a challenge with the game since the enemies were just waiting to be bombarded with bullets (but that's personal preference) and then I died twice on the last screen for having thought that. Like it!
Short but great! It really looks and feels like something from the inteded era :) Though, I find it a bit strange to have d-Pad up for jumping in a platformer it works on a keyboard, but I felt pretty stupid when it took me three deaths to figure out how to jump (I was like, it must be "next to the shoot-button somewhere!?") :P

Such a fun game! We reviewed it and all the others on a special episode of our podcast here: https://anchor.fm/nestalgia/episodes/S05---NEStalgia-Game-Jam-euj95s
