had a fun time with this one
(2 edits)

I think this is by far the  ̶d̶u̶m̶b̶e̶s̶t̶  best bit I've ever did on YouTube (so far). hope you like  ̶b̶a̶d̶  amazing jokes and even w̶o̶r̶s̶e̶  better accents ;)

Finally got around to playing this game and it was such a blast! this game made me go to some really interesting places and I had quite a wild ride with it.

thanks!

This was such a wonderful little game, by the time it was done I was caught off guard cause I was so engrossed!

this game could have twice as many levels and still feel short, which is a great achievement imho

great mechanics, smart little puzzles and really wonderful aesthetics.

amazing job you guys!

here

thanks i made a girl monster

that actually made me so happy to read lol, I'm always a bit nervous about doing voices :p

as promised, here's the final part.

thanks a bunch for the support, I really appreciate you watching, you're a cool dude! I'll check out your future projects for sure :)

Well now I'll have to check it out. can't believe I missed it in my research as I'm literally making a tennis rpg lol

btw my second part of your game is out, final part will be out tomorrow round the same time ;)

found this by accident, but honestly I had such a wonderful time! check it out if you'd like :)

(made it into three parts, I upload daily, so, more in the next few days)

on a personal note, I've actually been working on a sports rpg of my own for a while now and this game really motivated me to keep working on it. This has the potential of a full (albite small) game release! you should consider making it into one :)

The mechanics are a blast, the idea is inventive and fun, the sprite work is really really good and the music works (though I would definitely invest in that department a bit more)

All in all this was a wonderful time with this game and I wholeheartedly recommend it and thank you hwilson for it.

Stay safe king <3

this is the first time i've ever seen this game but It feels like I've played it  before. is that weird? Should I consult my cat?

but for reals though, this is amazing. This really is my first time playing and honestly I think I kinda fell in love dude. What an amazing thing you've made. definitely a fan of your work.  I really don't have much words to describe how this art made me feel. love it, love you, thanks a bunch

(also thanks for the opportunity to exploit your amazing art game for video views)

(also if you are a youtuber reading this comment and consider playing this on your channel some of the music, {battle theme specifically}  is copyrighted so... yeah. talk over the battles if you can)

bravo.

what a nice surprise of a game! had me spooked all the way through, thanks for that :)

absolutely fantastic work. that kid got me spooked real good and the whole thing made me so intrigued I played through over and over again to to get all of the endings. thanks a bunch for this experience! also awesome work making this in godot ;)

An interesting concept. I loved the presentation, but felt like the main theme could have been presented better. plus, and that's just my own opinion so don't take it as criticism, I'm not a big fan of the message that there's no hope and we're doomed to repeat a pointless cycle. Each life is unique and has it's own purpose to discover, there is joy in that. We attain control when we let go of the need to control.

but that's not to say this wasn't fun! this was really interesting and I enjoyed it! so, good job there.

anyways, like every other person here, here's my video take on your game.

This was such a wonderful little experience. really wish you guys would get a budget and could actually work this one into a full on game! anyways heres my run of the game, if you're interested :)

man this was so fun. really loved the mechanics and the whole thing had such a good vibe to it. would have loved some more of it, to be honest. amazing work!

hey mate, got to playing the game :) was an all around fun little experience, that I wouldn't mind checking out again a few months/years down the line. some good potential there.

anyways, like everybody else, here's my video take on your game. thanks for reaching out :)

Cool idea, albeit a bit too long in my opinion. Had fun nonetheless, good job!

that was fun and challenging! I like it!

NASA hides the truth about Saturn, They don't want you to know!

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you had so much fun!

I based the whole game around this concept cause it made me laugh so much; also I'm a sucker for happy endings :)

Oh man the Hauler! I'm a huge fan!

Thanks for finding the time to play my game while saving lives.

I'm happy you had fun and thank you for the notes :)

thank you so much! I actually thought the same about the shooting noise so I turned it down, guess I could've turned it down some more. I'm glad you had fun! thanks for playing :)

oh man that's sweet of you! thank you so much, what a nice thing to write <3

cool atmosphere and a very interesting take. liked it.

that was pretty fun! nice concept and fun to play. could maybe restart the room once you die, cause I died at the boss and it's such a bummer to restart everything. really fun nonetheless, good job!

I liked the story and concept. good idea and nice execution!

that was a beautiful little experience. take the plunge. you're not competing with anyone, cause only you can do you. there's a place for everyone <3

that was a delight. had so much fun. you could add more levels and literally publish this as a small game!

neat idea and cool execution. loved it, great job!

that was fun! really nice idea, not hard to figure out and pretty sweet all in all. good job!

Thank you so much! I don't think I'm gonna keep developing this one, I used it to learn the basics for a bullet hell game. thank you for the notes tho, that's good advice. thank you :)

thank you so much! Didn't get to the hit indicator on time, but that was definitely on the to do list for this game.

happy you liked it, thank you!

I think I got a high score, got 103 out of 30!

just kidding ;)

this was surprisingly challenging but so clever and engaging! really really liked the idea! took me three levels to realize I could stop drawing and continue the same line, and not have to do one straight line for each level, but maybe that's on my reading comprehension.

I really loved the idea! good job!

not my thread but might as well, I've learned godot with no prior knowledge just this past month and this is already my second game jam. Tried to learn unity a couple of times but found it too complex for my needs. In my opinion if you wanna make 2d games quickly and easily, godot is really awesome and intuitive!

Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it :)

to that's ok, I was fast asleep while you streamed, wish I could've seen it live. Thanks for playing my game on your stream! Glad you had fun :)

this  was cute, but in games requiring precise platforming not being able to move after jumping in place makes things really unnecessarily difficult. I had a hard time getting on platforms, let alone making jumps. I did really like the design and feel of the game, but it could really benefit from smoother controls.

but also, thank you so much for playing! happy you liked it :)

noted! thank you so much for playing! really appreciate it!

There is background music. quite a lot of it to be honest. maybe try the downloadable version?
