A really novice question: How it works?

Hello,

Just one question: how a Jam works? After joining the Jam I start working the day the Jam starts, without saying anything, and when the game is finished I publish it, or I should be informing what I'm doing, game's name, etc?

I'm sorry, it's my first Jam... :P

Is your problem with submitting your game? Because to do that, you go on the jam page and click "Submit your project". You have to upload normally first, then you select it in the drop down menu when you click the button.

No, I haven't any problem submitting my game... well, yes: I still haven't any game at all! :)

My question was if we have to do anything before submitting the game, something like publishing information about the game, or a daily log about how the creation goes, etc. But, as I understand, it's just send the game, isn't it?

Yup, just submit the game, no extra info needed.

@ecmos - I think you and I are on the same page - I've never done a game jam before either and I always had the impression that documenting your progress, showing the stages from 'Nothing!' to 'Game!' was all part of the fun!  Maybe not?   =)   Well - I'm doing it anyway... posting my daily progress on my blog if anyone is interested.   https://rogueduckstudiosblog.wordpress.com/2017/08/06/nes-game-jam/
